25 years ago, The Grand Rapids Children's Museum on 11 Sheldon Ave opened to the public with bubbles, boxes, laughter, and the world's shortest parade. Your gift provides vital funding for ongoing museum operations and supports our efforts to bring play to all children in our community through open-ended programs and exhibits, outreach initiatives, and community partnerships. The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum is an independent, non-profit organization and receives no annual city, state, or federal funding.
