now playing!
Play pretend in the Play House exhibit at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum. This cozy house invites kids to explore the world of dramatic play! Inside the house, you will find baby dolls with a crib and changing table, a puppet theater, and a living room full of plush pets, children can engage in role-playing scenarios that nurture empathy, creativity, and problem-solving skills. In the kitchen, play food sparks imaginative cooking, while outside, a vibrant yard with an apple tree, bubble blowers, and lawn mowers lets kids develop motor skills and teamwork. Every activity in this exhibit enhances learning through play, encouraging children to explore everyday life in their own playful way.
